Manager of Consulting Contracts are responsible for all project work oversight, development, implementation and management. The position works closely with the Chairman/CEO, President, HR, Subject Matter Experts, Sr. Strategists and Strategists. The Project Manager will work closely with team members to ensure that project work is executed efficiently and communicate with clients to ensure that final deliverables meet their expectations. This position requires managing multiple projects simultaneously.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manager of Consulting Contracts will have a range of responsibilities in all areas of Blue Stone’s business activities. Responsibilities generally include:
Operations & Contract Management
o Work with team members to develop, conduct, and implement project work.
o Conduct analysis of data related to ongoing business development and project work.
o Coordinate and facilitate project meetings.
o Perform due diligence, interviews and other data gathering exercises to support project development.
o Develop effective deliverables as needed including final presentations and case studies.
o Ensure quality of all documents and deliverables
o Provide support to project managers, HR, Subject Matter Experts, Sr. Strategists, and Strategists.
Research & Analysis
o Provide industry and project specific knowledge, insights, and credibility.
o Conduct financial analysis and forecasting and develop complex financial models
o Utilize media and other resources to assist in business development and public relations.
o Remain up-to-date on current events in Indian County.
o Provide research for thought leadership, press releases, website content and other Blue Stone communications.
Business Development & Relationship Management
o Cultivate existing and new Tribal relationships.
o Identify potential business opportunities and clients.
o Maintain database of current and potential relationships.
o Assist in developing project proposals/RFPs.
o Develop marketing support materials.
o Develop tribal outreach plans to introduce Blue Stone Strategy Group to targeted Tribes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

o Masters of Business Administration degree (MBA), Master in Public Policy (MPP), Master in Public Administration (MPA), or other relevant advanced degree from an accredited college or university
o At least five years relevant work experience, including managing teams.
o Experience in tribal or other government services, economic development, management consulting, or other relevant subject area (land use & planning, infrastructure, healthcare, human resources, organizational design).
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, payroll systems, project management software, and database software.
o Native preferred.
