The Circulation Department of The Keene Sentinel has an immediate full time opening for a detail orientated Customer Service Representative, who will spend part of their time assisting the Readership Marketing Manager. Our ideal candidate will be outgoing, have a positive attitude, answer the phones and greet customers with a smile and enjoy a wide array of responsibilities. Must have strong communication and organizational skills, maintain a pleasant manner in person and on the phone, be a team player, be a great multi-tasker and understand a “sense of urgency”. You will assist our readers with account related questions, in addition to resolving escalating service issues and dealing with the day-to-day needs of our ever-changing fast paced department. The ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong attention to detail is a must. The position entails significant use of the telephone and computer data entry. General knowledge of office duties, such as note taking, data entry, and filing are necessary for this position. The position will also introduce the candidate to developing skills in marketing, sales, event coordination, along with the use and management of databases.
Prior experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential. Hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
