This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of marketing efforts and student recruitment for The University of Tulsa's Graduate Business Programs (GBP). The Marketing and Recruiting Coordinator reports to the Director of Marketing and Student Services. This is a full-time position, typical hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position requires up to 35% travel, in and out of state.
The Collins College of Business currently enrolls 250 graduate business students and offers the following graduate programs: Full-Time MBA, MBA for Working Professionals, M.S. in Business Analytics, M.S. in Finance, Master of Accountancy, Master of Energy Business, and M.S. in Global Energy. The Graduate Programs Office is part of the Williams Student Services Center, which provides advising, enrollment and career development services for both undergraduate and graduate business programs.
Assists in implementation of marketing and advertising campaigns
Manages digital advertising campaigns (Google AdWords, LinkedIn Advertising, and Facebook Advertising) in accordance with GBP marketing strategy
Manages the GBP social media accounts in accordance with GBP marketing strategy
Assists in creation of marketing and promotional materials
Tracks inventory of GBP's promotional material and maintains stock
Evaluates effectiveness of marketing strategy and prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing student data
Utilizes CRM software (Recruit) to manage database of prospective students
Implements recruiting strategies, including initial contact, follow-up and assessment for qualified contacts
Manages inquiries and contacting students via phone, email and face-to-face
Consults with prospective students to determine educational needs, concerns, and interests
Travels to universities, colleges, and corporations to conduct presentations to promote programs to prospective students (local, in-state, and out of state travel)
Works with the Director of Marketing, Asst. Dean, and the Assoc. Dean to determine recruiting schedule/strategy
Adheres to GBP recruiting budget
Works with the Assistant Dean to compile and report annual survey information and recruiting statistics
Coordinates activities with other GBP personnel
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Student Services
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field with at least one year of relevant experience; strong organizational skills; exceptional communication, presentation, interpersonal, and writing skills; demonstrated knowledge and ability to implement marketing campaigns; strong attention to detail; ability to manage time effectively and demonstrate excellent follow up skills; excellent computer skills, including MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
At least three years of marketing experience in higher education admissions, recruiting or other intangible sales; experience maintaining a budget; experience coordinating in and out of state travel.
