Plans, organizes, and supervises facilities and grounds maintenance activities for wastewater treatment facilities. Maintenance activities include preventive maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, and construction with attention to the environmental regulatory framework in which they are conducted. Duties include supervision of heavy equipment operation and trucking in support of overall operations of the wastewater treatment plant, biosolids management facility, and wastewater pump stations.

Associate's Degree in related field(s), supplemented with training in leadership/supervision.
Five years of increasingly responsible experience performing maintenance in a wastewater plant or similar industrial setting; including two years of supervisory responsibility or four years of responsible lead worker experience.
Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
License or Certificate
A valid Oregon driver's license or, the ability to obtain by date of hire; must pass driving records check and, if hired, maintain a driving record that meets the City's standard. Oregon law requires that an out-of-state license holder must obtain a valid Oregon license (with appropriate endorsements) within 30 days of becoming domiciled in the state (ORS 803.355).
