Coordinator, Sport Science Institute
Provide coordination and direct support to the chief medical officer (CMO) and senior vice president, Sport Science Institute. The coordinator provides coordination and support through a one on one working relationship with the CMO and serves as the primary point of contact for all internal and external parties that communicate with and request time or resources from the CMO. The coordinator organizes and manages the CMO’s schedule and travel arrangements for conferences, conventions and events where the CMO presence is requested, and is responsible for additional projects as designated by the CMO
The coordinator works independently on projects, from conception to completion, while managing the pressures and deadlines associated with high profile projects and expectations. The role requires being able to execute on the Sport Science Institute’s strategic initiatives while also managing day-to-day requests. The coordinator must represent each matter and every interaction confidentially and discretely.
The coordinator role requires focus and the ability to exercise good judgment in all situations. This high visibility role requires strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills. The ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines is a key aspect of this role. The person in this role must be able to anticipate the needs of the CMO by being forward thinking and proactive. This role must prioritize multiple responsibilities and deliver expeditious results.
