Qualified early education & care professionals/instructors needed immediately for new statewide Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) funded project: Training and Technical Assistance on Developmental Screening to Support 2018 QRIS Improvement Grant.
This is a great opportunity to participate in promoting universal developmental screening in MA.
Position offers flexible part-time schedule, competitive compensation and the project currently extends through 2020.
The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) seeks instructors, also known as ASQ Specialists: to participate in a total of 4 paid Training of Trainers (ToT) days, current set dates are March 26, 27, and 28, and April 3, 2018 in Marlborough, MA.
to teach early educators how to use the ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE-2 screening tools, using a newly developed .5 CEU course with all materials and on-going support provided to provide these educators with technical assistance on enhancing their proficiency with these screening tools follow up strategies to support families with next steps after ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE-2 screenings.
Prior training in, and/or experience using these tools, and bilingual in English & Spanish is preferred.
Eligible ASQ Specialists should be skilled in implementing adult learning strategies, have knowledge of the MA QRIS, MA Core Competencies for Educators, and MA Learning Standards & Curriculum Guidelines.
