Plant Serviceman AA (U18-058) $44.91/hr Maintain plant equipment at a thermal electric generating plant, including coal yard equipment, mobile, and railroad rolling stock and machine shop equipment. Duties will include: Work to close tolerances and be able to rig and handle heavy equipment safely. Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment. Work from prints, schematics, detailed instructions, and diagrams. Perform precision repair and maintenance work requiring the use of precision tools, machine tools, and hand tools. Fabricate special tools, fixtures and templates as required. Maintain records, such as daily work reports, preventive maintenance records, and equipment maintenance records.
Top Candidates will:
Hold or have successfully held a position as a Serviceman AA, or Have completed an apprenticeship program consistent with the duties of a Serviceman AA; or Have three years of demonstrated work experience at the Journeyman level consistent with the duties of a Serviceman AA. Pass or have passed the Serviceman AA qualifying exam. The Reward?
